As we observe Martin Luther King Jr. Day, we take a moment to reflect on the enduring legacy of Dr. King—a leader whose vision of equality, justice, and compassion continues to inspire us all.
This day is more than a holiday; it is a call to action. Dr. King taught us the power of nonviolent change, community service, and standing up for what is right. At Fair Plain Middle School, we celebrate his life by embracing diversity, fostering inclusion, and encouraging students to make a positive impact in their communities.
We invite all members of our school community to honor Dr. King’s memory by reflecting on his message and finding ways to contribute to a more just and equitable world, whether through service, education, or everyday acts of kindness.
"The time is always right to do what is right." – Martin Luther King Jr.
Let’s come together to remember, learn, and act.
